Equipment check, not much today. 9L running backpack, an apple, a croissant de jamón y queso, water, my cell and a sports watch. Some long distance shoes that are not really suitable for what I’m doing here. I should finally get around buying some proper trail shoes 😁 5/x

Fastpacking Takeaways:

* Radius is obviously smaller than with a bike but setting up camp, getting food is way faster
* running at night is boring at first but after a couple of hours you’re completely spacing out
* A good backpack that has a proper fit goes a long way

Well that’s it for today. Made it to a village with metro access. If the knee ain’t better tomorrow I’m taking the train home. It’s nothing serious I believe, just hurts like hell. Not used to running these kind of technical trails, especially with a backpack and in the dark 😁

More mountain trails, knee and heat are getting worse. Didn’t think I’d have problems on the first third of the route there is no shortcut home for the next 25k 😅 But first, a little siesta.
